ANIMALS IN HEAVEN
I think these passages prove the point. Don’t let anyone ever tell you your beloved pets are not in heaven. God’s love is total and complete and He clearly loves ALL his creation, even the plants.
Romans 8:19-23 (Amplified Bible)
19For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].
20For the creation (nature) was subjected to]frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it–[yet] with the hope
21That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children.
22We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now.
23And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the firstfruits of the [Holy] Spirit [a foretaste of the blissful things to come] groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies [from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal] our adoption (our manifestation as God’s sons).

Isaiah 11:6 (Amplified Bible)
6And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and the fatted domestic animal together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isaiah 65:25 (Amplified Bible)
25The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy Mount [Zion], says the Lord.

This blog is great. How did you come up witht he idea? 2 4 2
I am sick, sick at heart. Oh my gosh, I ran over a kitty tonight. I had my dog in the backseat, and he flew in to the dashboard when I slammed on the brakes, but it was too late. I will never forget the sound of the thunk and end of life for someone’s pet. Never. I called animal control, but of course they were closed, so I left a message. I am haunted by the sight of this poor kitty, and can’y stop crying. I hope she was loved and had a good life. I hate the thought of the owner finding her dead. I want to bring some solace to whoever she/he belongs to. I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight. A pretty kitty who didn’t deserve to die.
We all relate to your experience. Death is part of life for all of us including animals. God’s love isn’t total and complete or perfect unless he loves the animal kingdom also and has a home for them too. That is the purpose of this blog–to encourage us when life hands us a lemon. Owners must take part in responsibility if they let their pets outdoors especially in the city. Gail
My poor patient and beleagered husband….He gets up at 4:30 am every morning, and I woke him up at 3 am to see if he would help me put this kitty in a box at the very least. I just couldn’t stand the thought of another car rolling over it.
Poor man, he was cussing but willing, so I backed down and apologized. He did check it out on his way to work, and called to say he could not find the kitty. I don’t know, I hope the owners find peace.
My cat loves to roam at night, but that will not be an option for her any lomger.
Hope this poem helps. Also, there are so many wild cats in the city, you don’t know that this one was someone’s pet.
