ARE YOU TAKING YOUR FREEDOM FOR GRANTED?

1 Imagine your parent or spouse was arrested and imprisoned for his or her faith. What if they were the primary bread winner? What if you could no longer pay rent, buy food for your family or afford to educate for your children? What if you had to pay fines to prevent the confiscation of your possessions?

The Voice of the Martyrs has always placed the highest priority on helping families of prisoners. In Hebrews 13:3 we are instructed to remember those in bonds as bound with them. And one of the most important aspects of remembering them is caring for their families. Salavat’s prayer is so poignant:

“I am willing to go to prison for my faith. But please, God, take care of my family.”

We can be the answer to that prayer!

I bet most in America aren’t aware that crucifixions are still going on.  Well, they are–in the Sudan.

Sometimes persecuted Christians around the world wonder if anyone cares about them.

Pray about how you can become Christian encouragement to those who aren’t as fortunate as you are.
