GOD PUT IT ALL TOGETHER–PART 1

When you take a brisk walk in the cool of the night, have you ever looked up into the starry heavens and ask yourself, where did it all begin?  Where did the moon, the stars, the sun and the earth come from?  Where did I come from?  What is my purpose in life?  Who or what put it all together?  These are the types of questions that philosophers have been trying to answer for centuries.

To understand the origin of the Universe from the Creationist’s perspective, you have to understand the origin of the Bible. The mathematical odds of the Bible NOT being divinely inspired–it is impossible.  The oneness or unity of the Bible is a miracle.  According to a theological critique, the Bible is a library of 66 books, written by over 35 different authors in a period of approximately 1500 years.  Represented in the authors is a cross section of humanity, educated and uneducated, including kings, fishermen, public officials, farmers, teachers, and physicians.    Included in the subjects are religion, history, law science, poetry, drama biography, and prophecy.  For over 35 authors, with such varied backgrounds to write on so many subjects over a period of approximately 1500 years in absolute harmony is a mathematical impossibility.  The only adequate explanation is “Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”  (2 Peter 1:21).  Biblical Archeology,  and Historical Prophecyare two more fields that positively confirms the Bible.

What are the creation theories?  There are three basic ones.

The first is that God did actually create the world in seven literal days.  This is based on one principle that has never changed no matter what calendar in history you use–it takes 24 hours for the earth to rotate on its axis.

The second is the six-day theory based on 2 Peter 3:8  It states:

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing: that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

What the six-day theory is saying is one creation day was a thousand years.

The third is the ID theory–intelligent design.  A good article on this theory can be found at www.answersingenesis.org and click on the intelligent design picture.

You can make a Christian argument for a young earth and an old earth both.  However, scientifically what we can NOT do is teach any creation theory as fact, which is what the evolutionists are doing with their theory.  Nobody was there at the time of creation so nobody knows for sure how it was all put together.  Part 2 will address why evolution is bad science.

GOD PUT IT ALL TOGETHER–PART 2

Evolution is bad science for many different reasons.  First, the origin of evolution, as we all know was Charles Darwin.  Science should always be based on total objectivity.  When forming a hypothesis, the attitude should always be “maybe I’m right, and maybe I’m wrong.  Let’s find out.”  If you study the history of Charles Darwin, he was in rebellion against God and wanted to prove the Bible wrong, so, all objectivity was lost.  But, even Charles  Darwin knew that without a transitional fossel, is theory was “worthless speculation.”

Second, anytime you have to lie to prove your theory, your theory is worthless.  Deceptions were made to deceive people regarding fossils such as Lucy, Archeopteryx, Java Man, Rampithicus, Piltdown man, Neanderthal Man, and the Nebraska Man, but all have been disputed and found to be false.

Third, the scientific method is not fully utilized.  Whenever you teach a theory as fact, the scientific method is lost and indoctrination is evident.  You can’t utlize the scientific method when there is so much assuming–no evidence of a transitional fossil–nothing showing one species turning into another.  To counter this, evolutionists came up with Punctual Equilibrium which theorizes that things stay the same and then all of a sudden there is a change, such as fish growing wings because of a mutation.  Really!  If I blogged that “today I saw a fish jump out of the water and sprout wings”  what would you think?  Without a transitional fossil what is the basis for the illustrations that have show apes evolving into a Homo Sapiens?  If there was one to be found, surely the oil rigs that penetrate so deeply into the earth, would have unearthed one.

Fourth, mathematically the Big Bang Theory is worthless–that 20 billion stars fell into intricate precision to form the Milky Way Galaxy and that they started working intricately and in one accord immediately.  The mathematical odds of this phenomena happenings is more than an explosion in a print shop and all letters come together to form a complete dictionary, all alphabetized of course!

Fifth, the main purpose of evolution theories is to draw you away from Christ, not to seek after the truth of how we came into being.  What does common sense tell you about coming from an amoeba?  If we just return to dust when we die, where is any accountability for what we do in life?  Ecclesiastes 12:13,14 states:

13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.14For God shall bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil.

I can’t begin to blog all the evidence for Creation Science and that Evolution is bad science; but I do encourage you to research it out on your own.  A good place to start is www.answersingenesis.org

Someday, our knowledge will be increased so we can visit all the outer planets.  Until then, stop and ponder then enormousy of the Universe if you can.  It is extremely mind-boggling and one has to ask who or what is holding it all together.  Mankind will always be in rebellion against God and will never take God’s word for it.  The evolutionists will always be with us, to scorn God and to discredit the Bible.  There will always be questions that can’t be answered and the cynical skeptics will always be here.  But, it really doesn’t matter.  It doesn’t change anything.  Jesus is still King of the Universe whether people want to believe it or not, and he will always just be one prayer away.
